Lounge Monkey (or Green House at the time) was formed March, 2022 in Layton, Utah. The band was created by lead singer Ryan Madsen and Drummer/Producer Gabriel Rietzsch. Later on, Kamden Gill was hired as lead guitarist. Adeline Hiemstra was hired as their 4th bassist right before the group rebranded to Lounge Monkey in April 2024. She currently continues to complete the 4 piece. All of their music is recorded and written independently between Ryan and Gabe’s basement studios.
